Global Summit on Sustainable Biopolymers and Polymer Applications. Prof. Lizandro Manzato is a Professor and Researcher at the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM), Brazil, where he coordinates the Laboratory for Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials (LSCN), part of the national SisNANO/MCTI network. He is also a senior researcher at the EMBRAPII–IFAM Innovation Unit, promoting collaboration between academia and industry to foster technological innovation in the Amazon region. His research focuses on sustainable polymeric and nanostructured materials, with an emphasis on biopolymers, nanocellulose, lignocellulosic nanomaterials, and geopolymers. His work integrates materials science, spectroscopy, and process automation to develop eco-friendly materials and technologies that strengthen the bioeconomy of the Amazon. He has coordinated several research and development initiatives aimed at creating innovative equipment, intelligent process monitoring systems, and bio-based material platforms, combining spectroscopy, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence to improve performance, reproducibility, and sustainability in production environments.
