The Center for European & Mediterranean Affairs organizes the 19th Annual International Conference on Mediterranean Studies, 30-31 March & 1-2 April 2026, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Mediterranean Studies. The aim of the Mediterranean Conference is to bring together scholars and researchers from various areas of Mediterranean Studies, such as history, arts, archaeology, philosophy, culture, sociology, politics, international relations, economics, business, sports, environment, ecology, and other related disciplines. The conference is designed to facilitate discussions among academics from Mediterranean countries and those conducting research on Mediterranean-related issues, fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations. Consistent with the theme of Athens Institute’s small academic events, the program may also include sessions on current topics in education and research.
